Role & seniority: Quality Assurance / Quality Engineer (potential to progress to supervisory role) for PCB/PCBA manufacturing.
Stack/tools: IPC-A-610; AS9102 FAIR; ESD protocols; incoming, in-process and final inspection; CoCs; NCR/MRB processes; test equipment (multimeter, network analyzer, signal generator, power meter); basic software/scripts knowledge; read electrical schematics; GD&T; NADCAP awareness.
Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections; verify test results and build/test documentation; ensure traceability.
Investigate nonconforming materials, generate NCRs, lead MRB, determine root cause, and drive corrective actions.
Maintain documentation accuracy (CoCs, records/objective evidence), communicate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers; support QMS updates.
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance
BS in EE or related engineering field; 5+ years in Quality/Product Assurance
Expertise in IPC-A-610, AS9102 FAIR, NCR/MRB processes
Experience with PCB/PCBA inspection, soldering standards, and test verification
Ability to follow electrical schematics, troubleshoot electronics, and use standard test equipment
AS9100 QMS experience; familiarity with PCB/PCBA/cable harness structures
Knowledge of J-STD-001; GD&T; mechanical drawings; NADCAP awareness
Basic programming/scripting; experience with data/document management
Essential Functions
Ensure Quality for printed circuit board assembly with knowledge of **PCBA **manufacturing process Familiar with and/or have current IPC-A-610 Certification Experienced with AS9102 First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) Basic understanding of RF electronics and digital circuits Familiar with EEE components, through hole, and surface mount package Visual Inspection solder joints, examine defects under magnification Understand ESD protocols, usage of electronic test equipment Conduct Incoming inspection to ensure traceability of parts and materials Review supplier sampling inspection reports Investigate nonconforming materials, generate NCR to document defects Lead MRB, determine root cause, and drive corrective actions Conduct in-process and final inspection of hardware per build work instruction Verify in-process and final test results per test procedure Ensure completeness of build & test documentation, generate CoCs Scan and archive all applicable records and objective evidence Clear communication with internal peers as well as suppliers and customers
Support Functions
Tasks and assignments required to ensure implementation of AS9100 QMS Update procedures, work instructions, and forms for process improvements
Required Education and Experience
U. S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
Preferred Experience and Skills

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week. Typical office hours include Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, however, these hours will vary based on workload and the manager's discretion. This job may require more than 40 hours of work per week as the need arises.
Travel
Mostly local supplier visits and minimal domestic travel or as needed.
