Role & seniority: Manager of Systems Design Engineering – HSIO, PCIe/CXL; technical lead with people management responsibilities.
Stack/tools: High-speed I/O (CXL, PCIe/HSIO), post-silicon validation, test planning, validation automation, SoC program lifecycle, cross-functional collaboration across geographies.
Prioritize resources and plan tasks; drive validation planning for SoC programs and execution toward breakthroughs.
Design and establish test plans/requirements; oversee feature enablement and validation of CXL, PCIe, and other HSIO features.
Manage and mentor engineers/contractors/interns; resolve technical issues and drive improvements to validation methodologies and automation.
Must-have skills: Semiconductor industry experience with both engineering and people leadership; knowledge of CXL or HSIO domains; experience with automation and validation methodologies; experience with pre- or post-silicon verification/validation, power and performance analysis; prior management experience; relevant degrees (BSEE/CSE/CS or MSEE/CSE/CS).
Nice-to-haves: Cross-functional/global collaboration experience; proven track record in debugging complex problems and driving issues to resolution; experience shaping post-silicon validation processes and efficiency.
