Define, design, and execute comprehensive validation frameworks for robotic systems spanning hardware, software, and cloud integration

Must-have skills

The Robotics Operation and Integration team is a part of the SoftServe Robotics Group, specializing in developing and smoothly integrating robotic systems on the edge devices as well as on the Cloud. We are looking for a Lead Robotics Validation Engineer to define, design, and execute comprehensive validation frameworks for advanced robotic systems that span hardware, software, and cloud integration. You will lead the end-to-end testing and validation lifecycle β ensuring performance, reliability, and safety across robotic platforms such as mobile robots, robotic arms, and drones.
IF YOU ARE
Qualified with a degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field Knowledgeable in robotics principles, control systems, and algorithms Experienced in software testing and QA methodologies for embedded and robotic systems Familiar with programming in C++, Python, and ROS / ROS2 Skilled in robotics simulation tools such as IsaacSim, Gazebo, Webots, or equivalent Familiar with SLAM, localization, mapping, path planning, and sensor fusion using LiDAR, IMU, Visual, Odometry, Radar, or GPS Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Capable of collaborating across hardware, software, and cloud domains Experienced with hardware validation tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analysers Familiar with HIL/SIL testing frameworks and cloud-based robotics management systems Understanding containerized and distributed simulation using Docker or Kubernetes Experienced in integrating test automation into CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI Knowledgeable in data visualization and analytics tools like Grafana, PlotJuggler, or custom dashboards
