Configure hardware and software, ensure system efficiency, and troubleshoot issues. Collaborate with teams to integrate new technologies and improve processes. Develop, design, maintain, and commission automation and control systems for industrial equipment.
Design and program logic for PLCs, drive systems, and combustion control systems.
Develop SCADA and operator interface applications.
Create and maintain databases and custom computer programs for PLC and SCADA system interfaces.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components, diagnose and resolve issues using standard procedures.
Produce project manuals and electrical schematics using CAD software.
Develop scope of work, cost estimates, and budgets for electrical systems.
Gain in-depth knowledge of all aspects of SCR systems, including fluid systems, operations, metallurgy, maintenance, material handling, and furnace systems.
Assist with on-site commissioning of SCR system components.
Transfer technical knowledge to SCR customers through training, discussions, presentations, and startup assistance.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.

Willingness to travel internationally approximately 40% of the time.
