About Horse Technologies Horse Technologies is part of Horse Powertrain Limited – an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero. This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid, Spain, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites. Why join us? What you will do

• Lead system development plans aligned with ECU hardware and software requirements.

• Define and manage system testing plans for vehicle projects.

• Ensure availability of hardware and software testing resources.

• Monitor test execution, analyze results, and report defects.

• Provide technical support to validators and manage critical isues.

• Report progress at internal milestones and ensure quality objectives.

• Coordinate product/process convergence for hardware and software systems.

• Propose optimizations and improvements to standards and processes

• What we’re looking for

• A proven track record in system validation and embedded software architecture.

• Engineering degree in Mechatronics or related fields (Mechanical, Electronics); MSc or PhD preferred.

• Excellent skills in system architecture definition and validation methods for new functions.

• Strong competencies in problem-solving and team collaboration, with a multicultural approach.

• Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.

• Excellent command of English and Spanish, both spoken and written; French will be highly valued.
