Role & seniority: Field Automation Engineer (m/f/d) – PLC & Robotics, mid-level
Stack/tools: PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), drives, industrial robotics (Yaskawa, Fanuc, ABB), LabVIEW (basic, a plus), Windows (Networking/Office)
Troubleshoot and resolve PLC, drive, and robotics issues on-site
Commission, integrate, and modify PLCs and robotic systems; maintain system performance
Provide on-site and remote technical support; train and assist customers; collaborate with US/Germany teams
Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering (preferred)
1+ year related experience; strong PLC troubleshooting
Experience with Siemens/Allen-Bradley PLCs and drives
Knowledge of industrial robotics; excellent communication; strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Advanced English; valid driver’s license; willingness to travel; proficient Windows usage
Basic LabVIEW knowledge for troubleshooting
Familiarity with Yaskawa/Fanuc/ABB robots
Location & work type: United States; on-site field work with national/international travel as needed; collaboration with international teams
