Role & seniority: Field Automation Engineer (m/f/d) – PLC & Robotics, US (entry to mid level; travel required)
PLCs: Siemens, Allen Bradley
Drives and robotics systems: industrial robots (Yaskawa, Fanuc, ABB)
Diagnostics/troubleshooting: LabVIEW (basic, a plus)
OS/IT: Windows (network, Office)
Collaboration: cross-border teamwork (US/Germany)
Troubleshoot and resolve PLC, drive, and robotics issues on-site
Commission, integrate, and modify PLCs and robotic systems; diagnose and optimize performance
Maintain robotic systems at customer locations; provide on-site and remote support; train customers
Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering (preferred)
1 year of relevant experience (a plus)
Strong PLC troubleshooting; experience with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley
Knowledge of industrial robots (Yaskawa, Fanuc, ABB) a plus
Proficiency in Windows; advanced English; strong communication, organization, and problem-solving
Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel
LabVIEW knowledge for troubleshooting
Experience with robotics integration and cross-country collaboration
