Role & seniority: Field Automation Engineer (m/f/d) – PLC & Robotics; entry to mid level (1 year+ experience preferred)
Stack/tools: PLCs: Siemens, Allen Bradley; drives; robotic systems (Yaskawa, Fanuc, ABB); LabVIEW (basic); Windows (network/office); on-site and remote support
Troubleshoot and resolve PLC, drive, and robotics issues on-site
Commission, integrate, and modify PLCs and robotic systems; diagnose and optimize performance
Maintain robotic systems; train/assist customers; collaborate with US and Germany teams
Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering preferred
1+ year related experience; strong PLC troubleshooting
Experience with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLCs and drives
Knowledge of industrial robots (Yaskawa, Fanuc, ABB) a plus
Basic LabVIEW; Windows proficiency; excellent communication; strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Advanced English; valid driver’s license; willingness to travel
LabVIEW experience
Deeper robotics knowledge; remote support experience

What You Should Bring
Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering preferred One year of experience in a similar position is a plus Experience with PLCs (SIEMENS, Allen Bradley) and drives Strong troubleshooting skills for PLCs Knowledge of robotic systems (industrial robots e.g. Yaskawa, Fanuc, ABB) is a plus Basic LabView knowledge for troubleshooting is a plus Proficiency in Windows (Network, Office, etc.) Excellent communication skills for customer interaction Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Advanced English (technical proficiency) Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
