Position Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled QA Functional Engineer to support a product delivery POD. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in functional testing, both manual and automated, with a focus on quality assurance best practices across mobile and web platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support QA efforts within the team and offshore group.
  • Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases/scripts, and test reports.
  • Execute manual and automated tests; log, track, and close defects.
  • Perform exploratory and regression testing.
  • Validate UI and UX responsiveness across multiple devices and screen sizes (iOS and Android).
  • Conduct visual regression testing and perform testing on emulators, simulators, and real devices.
  • Manage test data effectively to support quality test cycles.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and testers in an Agile team environment.
  • Support Test Automation Engineer in continuous test automation efforts.
  • Contribute to QA process improvements and chapter-wide innovation initiatives.
  • Ensure testing aligns with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bitbucket or Azure DevOps.

Required Experience & Technical Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
  • Experience with test automation for mobile applications using Selenium (Java), Maven, Appium
  • Hands-on experience in API testing and database validation

Familiarity with tools: qTest, JIRA, Confluence, Kafka Experience in Microsoft Azure cloud environment Working knowledge of Agile methodology and QA best practices Experience with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Azure DevOps preferred) Strong understanding of QA processes, testing methodologies, and defect lifecycle
