WORK SCHEDULE: Hybrid – Candidate must have flexibility to come to the office as needed (3 days on-site / 2 days work from home).
LOCATION REQUIREMENT: Candidate must reside within 2 hours of Columbus, OH.
Client / Team Focus: The CLIENT team is responsible for the implementation of a new Contract Management System (FIS Asset Finance). This includes integration into the overall environment and migration of approximately 1.9 million contracts from the legacy contract management system to the new system.
Team Composition: Approximately 35 core CLIENT team members (business and IT), 100 vendor team members, and 75 part-time business participants.
Project Scope: • Implement the new package-based contract management system (FIS Asset Finance).
Migrate 1.9 million contracts from legacy to new system.
Deliver over 200 integrations between the new and legacy systems.
Enhance legacy systems to support seamless integration with the new system.
Conduct extensive functional, exploratory, and technical testing of all systems and integrations.
Project Focus: The Senior Test Manager will lead CLIENT's business testing activities from a functional standpoint. The primary focus is on data migration testing, system validation, and exploratory testing of the new Contract Management System. The role requires close coordination with business analysts, project managers, and test teams to identify, manage, and resolve testing issues.
Lead the testing of data migration from a functional standpoint.
Collaborate closely with business and testing teams to validate system functionality and outputs.
Act as liaison between Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Testing teams to coordinate issue resolution.
Oversee and drive the testing and validation of system forms, calculations, and outputs.
Manage test planning, execution, and defect management using tools such as JIRA, Xray, and Confluence.
Coordinate testing across projects leveraging the same resources, ensuring alignment between business, development, and test teams.
Create, communicate, and manage test strategies, schedules, and execution standards.
Prepare and communicate detailed test status reports, projections, and dashboards on a daily, weekly, and sprint cadence.
Identify and mitigate risks throughout the software development lifecycle.
Support Agile testing methodologies and ensure they are applied effectively in delivery processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of testing efforts across projects.

Minimum 7–10 years of software testing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Proven track record in planning, executing, and managing complex testing and defect management initiatives.
Hands-on experience with delivery and test management tools such as JIRA, Xray, and Confluence.
Proficient in using testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, Postman, and LoadRunner.
Strong understanding of project management principles including issue, risk, and dependency management.
Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex testing issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience managing distributed or hybrid test teams and coordinating across departments.
