Senior Test Manager

Hybrid - Candidate must have the flexibility to come to the office as needed - 3 days on-site / 2 days work from home. Location of candidate should not be more than 2 hours from Columbus office.

Project Details & day to day in this position

Candidate will lead stress, load, and security testing of the new Contract Management System in collaboration with the vendor and client's internal DevOps team.

Also responsible for Disaster Recovery planning and Failover Testing.

Technical recourse, topics, infrastructure, tech performance, PM - technical PM.

Coordinating activities with tech resources. Managing people and projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum 7-10 years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role. Proven expertise in developing and implementing effective testing strategies, including experience with various testing methodologies (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, system testing, performance testing). Proficient in the use of testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Postman, Loadrunner, xRay). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience in managing and mentoring a team of test engineers, including performance management and professional development. Knowledge of agile software development methodologies and their impact on testing processes. Familiarity with software development life cycle models and project management practices. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, Proven track record in planning, executing, and managing complex testing and defect management initiatives Hands-on experience with delivery and test management tools such as JIRA, X-ray, and Confluence Solid understanding of project management principles - including issue, risk, and dependency management Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between internal and external testing efforts Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment Excellent prioritization and time management skills to balance multiple projects and deadlines In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices with ability to implement Agile principles in testing and delivery Candidate should have strong project management experience and a solid understanding of technology to drive performance testing. Must be an excellent collaborator, able to build and maintain strong relationships with delivery teams.
