ROLE: The Quality Engineer II position provide support for documentation of quality, inspection, production and improving processes on complex aerospace products.
Develop/review quality inspection plans for new products as well as legacy production parts. Coordinate the review and resolution of non-conformances, liaising with internal stakeholders as well as suppliers to develop, implement & monitor corrective/preventative action plans. Perform inspections on production parts Perform reviews of first article inspections as well as provide documentation for new product development, dormancy and supplier changes of legacy production parts. Work collaboratively within and across cross-functional teams with minimal supervision Participate in internal audits of the QMS. Review and completion of appropriate documentation is critical Perform other duties, as required.

Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering required
At least 3 years of experience required.
Certified Mechanical Inspector/Certified Quality Engineer is a plus
Language: English Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Computer Skills: Proficient with MS Office Suite, CMM Programming is a plus; 3D CAD Software is a plus.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Abilities: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance and Standard Measurement for Aerospace products
