Role & seniority: Quality Engineer II (mid-level) in aerospace/defense context
Stack/tools: MS Office Suite; CMM programming (plus); 3D CAD software (plus); knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) and standard aerospace measurement practices; familiarity with QMS documentation and audits
Develop/review quality inspection plans for new and legacy parts; perform production part inspections
Coordinate non-conformance resolution with internal stakeholders and suppliers; implement and monitor corrective/preventive actions
Review first article inspections; document activity for new product development, dormancy, and supplier changes; support cross-functional teams and internal QMS audits
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Ability to read, interpret, and document technical information; strong written/verbal communication
Proficiency with MS Office; knowledge of GD&T and aerospace measurement standards
Ability to analyze data, define problems, and apply corrective actions
Certified Mechanical Inspector or Certified Quality Engineer

ROLE: The Quality Engineer II position provide support for documentation of quality, inspection, production and improving processes on complex aerospace products.
Qualifications
*** Language:** English Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
*** Computer Skills:** Proficient with MS Office Suite, CMM Programming is a plus; 3D CAD Software is a plus.
*** Mathematical Skills:** Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations, and proportions to practical situations.
*** Reasoning Abilities:** Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
*** Technical Skills:** Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance and Standard Measurement for Aerospace products
