Serve as primary quality contact for Japan customers; represent Oetiker’s quality interests and ensure clear communication of performance and requirements
Manage customer projects, implement quality requirements, and lead PPAP timelines, milestones, approvals, and action plans with factories
Track claims, coordinate sorting and warranty analysis; drive cross-functional escalation and resolution; support audits and continuous improvement
Must-have skills
Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and automotive quality processes
Proficiency with AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC)
Excellent communication, teamwork, and structured problem-solving (8D, 5Whys)
English proficiency; native Japanese
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; minimum 5 years automotive quality experience; direct customer interaction experience
Nice-to-haves
Experience with customer audits and PPAP execution in practice
Exposure to manufacturing process control and continuous improvement
Experience with quality software/d documentation systems; cross-cultural collaboration

Ltd (OEJ). Provides the interface at local and Oetiker site management level with the customer with the goal of meeting Oetiker and customer Quality requirements.
Essential Functions
Required Travel: max. 20% Additional Information Education / Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of quality experience in an automotive manufacturing environment. Experience working directly with customers on quality topics. Experience in manufacturing process control and continuous improvement. Experience with quality software and documentation systems.
