RCC seeks applicants for our Testing Center Technician position. This is a part-time staff position, without benefits. The anticipated hourly pay rate will be commensurate with experience but no less than $16.00.
Reporting to and working with the Testing Center Manager, this position will assist with the administration and proctoring of testing processes within the college community. Proctoring includes issuing, administering and controlling tests, and ensuring all testing procedures and policies are followed. At times, troubleshooting technological issues will be required. Confidentiality is expected in all matters associated with student testing. As appropriate, the incumbent will be required to open and close the testing center, monitor and utilize the testing email account, and suggest process improvements.
The Testing Center Technician position will be located at the Glenns Campus, and will assist as needed at all campus locations and sites. When the incumbent is not assisting students who are testing, they will provide information and support to students to facilitate communication between distance learning students and faculty. This position will complete other duties as assigned, and will be required to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
