Top 3 responsibilities

  • Serve as subject-matter expert on family law workflows (asset division, child/spousal support, disclosures), support onboarding, and translate customer feedback into product improvements

  • Own functional QA across core workflows (case setup, intake, calculators, reporting, court-ready outputs); validate state-specific logic and release readiness

  • Build/maintain lightweight UI/API automation where valuable; partner with Engineering during sprints and releases; leverage HubSpot to analyze tickets and inform improvements

Must-have skills

  • 3+ years in Family Law, Divorce Financial Planning, Legal Ops/Tech, Customer Success, QA, or B2B SaaS

  • Deep knowledge of divorce/family law workflows; experience with attorneys, mediators, or financial professionals

  • Hands-on functional QA for complex, rules-based systems; comfortable cross-functional collaboration (Product, Eng, CS); experience with HubSpot (Service Hub or CRM)

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium

  • Exposure to AI-powered support/tools or automation workflows

  • Background in legal tech, fintech, or regulate

We help professionals replace spreadsheets and outdated tools with accurate, state-specific calculations, clear reporting, and modern collaboration — delivering faster, fairer outcomes for families.

We are building an AI-enabled platform purpose-built for family law and divorce financial planning, starting in California and expanding nationwide. The Role We are hiring a Senior Customer Success & QA Automation Specialist to sit at the intersection of Family Law expertise, Customer Success, and Product Quality.

This is a hybrid role for someone who deeply understands how family law actually works and can ensure our product workflows, calculations, and customer experience meet the bar required by legal and financial professionals.

You will be the voice of the customer and the law, while also owning functional QA and light test automation to ensure SecureSplit is reliable, compliant, and scalable as we grow. What You Will Do Customer Success & Family Law Expertise Act as a subject-matter expert for family law and divorce financial workflows, including asset division, child support, spousal support, and financial disclosures Support onboarding and early adoption for attorneys, mediators, and Certified Divorce Financial Analysts (CDFAs) Answer complex workflow and domain questions from customers with confidence and clarity Translate customer feedback, confusion, and edge cases into actionable product improvements

Functional QA & Product Validation

Own functional and exploratory testing across core workflows: case setup, financial intake, calculators, reporting, and court-ready outputs Validate state-specific logic, rules, and calculation behavior from a real-world legal perspective Create and maintain test cases, regression checklists, and release validation plans Identify legal risk scenarios and edge cases before they reach customers

QA Automation & Release Confidence Build and maintain lightweight UI or API test automation for critical workflows Identify where automation adds the most value versus manual testing Partner closely with Engineering during sprint QA cycles and releases

HubSpot, AI & Automation Enablement Use HubSpot Service Hub to manage tickets, issues, and customer trends Analyze recurring questions, defects, and friction points to improve product and support workflows Help design AI-assisted support, self-service content, and automated triage to scale Customer Success without scaling headcount What We Are Looking For 3+ years of experience in Family Law, Divorce Financial Planning, Legal Operations, Legal Tech, Customer Success, QA, or B2B SaaS Strong working knowledge of divorce and family law workflows, not just theory Experience working directly with attorneys, mediators, or financial professionals Hands-on experience with functional QA for complex, rules-based systems Comfortable working across Product, Engineering, and Customer Success in a startup environment Experience using HubSpot (Service Hub or CRM) for customer support or success
