Role & seniority: Testing Coordinator (part-time, non-exempt)
Stack/tools: Entrance exams (Accuplacer, Accuplacer ATB, TABE); student databases/CRM (SchoolDocs); spreadsheets, word processing, databases; projection equipment
Administer/proctor entrance exams, maintain testing center integrity and confidentiality
Evaluate results and make recommendations (admission, tutoring, referrals); communicate results to prospective students
Enter and manage test data and paperwork; maintain candidate tracking and testing materials
Knowledge of GED/Adult Basic Education trends
Strong organizational skills and deadline orientation
Effective written and verbal communication; ability to work with diverse adult learners; team collaboration
Proficiency with office software, databases, and data entry
Associate’s degree or higher in education, counseling, or related field
Experience working with diverse populations
Location & work type: Office/computer lab environment; no travel required; schedule Mon–Thu 4:00 PM–8:00 PM and Sat 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Summary/Purpose
The Testing Coordinator supports the mission and programs of Summit Academy OIC by coordinating all aspects of the organization’s entrance exam testing function: scheduling and administering exams, preparation of testing materials, and entering test data.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office and computer lab environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as, computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
Presentations, some significant standing for observations, computer work, some filing required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, use keyboarding skills, and bend or stand as necessary.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time non-exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). It is eligible for overtime. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
