Role & seniority: Mid-Senior level Manager/Expert, responsible for test strategy in Asset Manager Technology and Change

Stack/tools: Asset management systems; cloud, web, mobile, API; ALM tools (JIRA, ServiceNow); test automation frameworks and tooling

  • Excellent communication; able to coach others and report to senior leadership; strong facilitation and stakeholder management

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience testing complex distributed systems (cloud, API) and working with multiple third parties and business units

  • Prior exposure to test automation initiatives and hands-on use of ALM tools beyond JIRA/ServiceNow

The Role

You will be responsible for defining and implementing, in collaboration, the test strategy for Asset Manager Technology and Change, covering portfolios, platforms and third parties. The role requires a strong understanding of the architecture, operational workflows and key third parties and maintains strong relationships with relevant business units where change will have an impact, either direct or indirectly.

Key responsibilities for this role

To work closely with business stakeholders, portfolio and platform leads and their delegates to support the formulation of the Test strategy, defining scope and desired outcomes. To provide framework for business testing UAT, including understanding roles and responsibilities, templates and ownership of tests, in line with business readiness key control To interface with senior architects and delivery leads to understand and document the cross-platform design, touch points and environment constraints for end to end testing To define and document cross platform/portfolio/third party, end to end standards, approach and ownership. Ensure strong working relationship with the business transformation team to provide them high level test impact overviews. Carry out risk assessment of the platform from an inflight testing perspective, i.e. Define high level red flag areas where due diligence and tracking required. Provide oversight and assurance for the test deliverables, such as test plans, test cases, test data, test results, and test reports and escalating where required Ensure continuous delivery and adoption of prioritised scope of the wider test strategy, always looking to move the capability forward Identify opportunities for test automation and drive the implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools.

Experience & Qualifications

Strong knowledge and experience in test strategy, planning, design, execution and reporting Experience of testing the full end to end lifecycle within asset management, including multiple third parties, multiple business units and multi-regional Experience in testing complex and distributed systems and platforms, such as cloud, web, mobile, and API. Experienced with ALM tools such as JIRA and Service Now
