Role & seniority: Quality Engineer, mid-level (2–5 years in industrial quality; Automotive sector preferred)
Stack/tools: IATF audit coordination; 8D problem solving; CAPA, control plans, PFMEA; QMS documentation; data analysis in Excel (pivot tables, basic DB handling); cross-functional project participation
Lead analysis and improvement of quality performance indicators; drive continuous improvement across the division
Participate in internal/customer audits; ensure readiness and compliance; oversee 8D/problem-solving processes
Oversee corrective/preventive actions; standardize quality procedures; manage central quality documentation and reporting
Engineering degree (Mechanical/Industrial/Chemical or related); 2–5 years in industrial quality, Automotive preferred
Experience with OEM quality requirements, quality tools (8D, PFMEA, control plans, CAPA)
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, data analysis); understanding of QMS processes; fluent English
Familiarity with audits (internal/customer/IATF) and documentation closure
Master’s degree
Warranty analysis experience; supplier quality exposure

For our growing Automotive division in Azuqueca de Henares at the earliest possible date we are looking for a: Quality Engineer
Reporting to the Director Quality Automotive your mission will be: assume key responsibilities within the Quality Management System, with a particular focus on coordinating and managing the IATF audit process for Central Automotive. The position will also play a vital role in strengthening collaboration between the plants and central functions, improving quality performance indicators, and contributing to enhanced customer service and customer satisfaction across the division.
What will your daily responsibilities include in this role?
▪ Lead the analysis, interpretation and follow-up of Quality performance indicators to support continuous improvement across the division. ▪ Participate in internal and customer audits, ensuring compliance with quality standards and driving robust readiness across involved teams. ▪ Support and oversee the plants in the preparation, execution and closure of 8D problem-solving processes, ensuring effectiveness and cross-site alignment. ▪ Assist the plants in the implementation and verification of corrective and preventive actions, ensuring timely closure and sustainable improvements. ▪ Promote and facilitate the sharing of best practices among plants to strengthen standardization and operational excellence. ▪ Contribute to the standardization and maintenance of quality procedures, ensuring consistency across the Automotive division. www.exidegroup.com 2 ▪ Manage central Quality documentation and prepare regular Quality reports for management and stakeholders. Represent the Central Quality function in cross-functional projects, ensuring quality requirements are integrated from the outset. ▪ Support warranty case analysis at customer sites when required, ensuring quick and professional feedback loops. ▪ Collaborate with the teams involved in supplier-related issues to support effective problem resolution. ▪ Coordinate and manage the IATF audit process for Central departments, ensuring readiness, compliance and continuous improvement.
