Job Description
Responsible for the scheduling, facilitation and administering and scoring of the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) Maintains all records associated with the aforementioned tests Maintains a high degree of discipline within the testing room Adequately prepares for the administration of the TABE Reviews pre-test preparation and post-test results Documents and tracks student test results, next scheduled tests, and progress Administers all TABE tests to include initial, follow-ups, and exit and promotion tests Provides adequate testing instruction to students Ensures testing is conducted in an area with low noise level Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of computer-based testing and machine scoring. Database management skills. Knowledge of educational development test administration and interpretation. Skills in the management of computerized testing systems, processes, and facilities, to include hardware, software, and periperals. Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures for the administration of standardized tests. Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information. Knowledge of regulations, policies, and standards for the administration and scoring of educational development tests. Organizing and coordinating skills. Ability to foster a cooperative work environment. Upon employment TABE Certification will be required
