UAT Analyst Are you passionate about delivering high-quality software that truly works for the business? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented UAT Analyst to play a key role in bringing technology initiatives to life.
In this entry-level role, you’ll work at the intersection of business and technology—supporting both traditional QA testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within an Agile environment. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, business stakeholders, and delivery leaders to ensure solutions meet real-world business needs, not just technical requirements. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, grow your testing skill set, and contribute directly to successful product releases.
What You’ll Do Partner with Business Analysts and Product Owners to define meaningful UAT test scenarios. Help plan and coordinate UAT schedules, ensuring test environments and data are ready. Execute and support UAT sessions alongside business users and subject matter experts. Validate end-to-end business workflows, ensuring solutions align with user expectations. Log, track, and triage UAT defects in collaboration with QA teams and Delivery Leads. Work closely with development teams to reproduce issues and confirm fixes. Maintain UAT documentation and trackers using tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Teams, or Confluence. Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency, reduce manual effort, and expand coverage—supporting automation where feasible. Continuously learn and apply best practices in UAT, QA, Agile delivery, and insurance technology.
What You Bring A solid understanding of insurance operations such as underwriting, claims, and billing. Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Zephyr, Excel, or other test management platforms. Familiarity with both manual and automated testing approaches. Strong ability to translate business requirements into clear, actionable test scenarios. Knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, SOX) is a plus. Exposure to life insurance products (term, whole, annuities) and core insurance systems. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with confidence working across technical and business teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Experience & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. 1–3 years of experience in UAT, QA, or business analysis—ideally within life insurance or financial services. Relevant certifications are a plus and supported.
Why Join Us? You’ll gain hands-on exposure to real production releases, work with experienced professionals across technology and business teams, and build a strong foundation in UAT and QA within the insurance domain. If you’re eager to learn, collaborate, and make an impact early in your career, this role is for you.
