Senior Test Analyst x3 – Payroll Transformation Program

6-Month Rolling Contract | Sydney | Day Rate $800–$875 + GST

We’re hiring 3 x Senior Test Analysts to join a major Payroll Transformation Program. These are hands-on roles working within a high-profile enterprise environment, supporting end-to-end testing across multiple projects, vendors, and releases.

The Role

• As a Senior Test Analyst, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality testing outcomes across the payroll program. You’ll work closely with business, payroll, finance, and technology teams to ensure solutions are thoroughly tested, fit for purpose, and ready for release.
• You’ll be involved across the full testing lifecycle — from requirements validation through to post-go-live support — ensuring real-world business scenarios are covered.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the program-wide test strategy and execute against defined test plans.
• Design and execute detailed test cases across system integration, functional, regression, UAT, data migration, and production readiness testing.
• Support payroll, HR, and finance stakeholders during test cycles.
• Identify, log, and manage defects through to resolution.
• Validate data conversions and integrations across systems.
• Provide clear reporting on test progress, coverage, and risks.
• Collaborate with vendors and system integrators to ensure quality standards are met.

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years’ experience in testing across complex enterprise environments.
• Strong experience working on HR, payroll, ERP, or time & attendance systems.
• Solid understanding of integration, data migration, and end-to-end testing.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Zephyr, Confluence, and relevant automation frameworks.
• Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills and ability to work across technical and business teams.
