Job Description This role is uniquely positioned at the intersection of software and hardware, focusing on physical testing of industrial machinery, specifically large-scale automated systems used in the building industry. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality and will thrive in a dynamic, cross-disciplinary environment. MiTek machinery is integrated with software developed by MiTek. This is a hands-on role that will physically test machinery that is designed and produced by MiTek to ensure maximum software quality. Job Responsibilities & Requirements This role will work onsite 5 days/week. Responsibilities: Conduct hands-on physical testing of machinery, including verifying integrated software functionality in coordination with mechanical and electrical systems. Design, execute, and document test plans and procedures for software integrated with automated systems. Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of testing equipment, including, but not limited to, routine cleaning, part replacement, adjustments, and minor repairs to uphold accuracy and reliability. Collaborate with software, mechanical/ electrical, simulation, and systems engineers to identify and resolve system-level issues. Develop and maintain automated and manual test cases for embedded software. Develop and execute test scenarios within the simulator environment to identify potential issues early in the development cycle, ensuring high-quality standards are met before physical deployment Identify and resolve issues with automated machinery, robotic systems, and control systems. This role will be required to be on site, 5 days per week, in order to physically test automation equipment.
