Role & seniority: IDD Quality Assurance Coordinator (professional/line-level), Syracuse, NY; full-time, non-profit environment.

Schedule and conduct QA audits of financials, personnel files, training records, medication administration records, medical records, Therap, and billing documentation; perform comprehensive record reviews; conduct physical site inspections.
Conduct 30-day initial audits of all new homes/programs; monitor in-house accounts for proper documentation, staff oversight, and correct balances.
Communicate audit findings to Regional/State Director, Executive Director, and National Compliance/QA Director; recommend policy/procedure changes; assist with inspections/inquiries as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
Working knowledge of managing an effective QA program (investigations, violations, corrective actions) and local regulatory operations.
Independent judgment to plan and prioritize a diverse workload; proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.

Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states. We are actively seeking a dedicated IDD Quality Assurance Coordinator in Syracuse, NY. The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for monitoring the systematic operations of the residential and vocational programs. This person will serve as a liaison between the local office and the national office. This person will be held accountable for ensuring the appropriate implementation of policies and procedures, and ensuring programs are completely in compliance with state rules, regulations, and agency policies. Starting pay is $55,000/per year
