Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager with strong Quality Assurance (QA) expertise to oversee end-to-end project delivery while ensuring the highest quality standards. The role involves close collaboration with leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time, within scope, and with minimal defects.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the CEO/Director to define project goals, execution strategies, timelines, and quality benchmarks. Engage with clients to gather, analyze, and validate business and functional requirements, project scope, and objectives. Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including BRD, FRD, UAT plans, test cases, test reports, and MOMs. Oversee project execution to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, workflows, and quality standards. Coordinate with designers, developers, and QA teams to ensure seamless collaboration and defect-free delivery. Review project deliverables to ensure compliance with functional requirements, usability standards, and client expectations. Plan, execute, and manage UAT cycles, ensuring proper defect tracking, resolution, and client sign-off. Prepare and present detailed project proposals, timelines, risk assessments, and quality assurance plans to clients. Act as the primary point of contact for all project communications, material submissions, tracking, and follow-ups. Maintain transparent and proactive communication with clients by providing regular status updates, quality reports, and issue resolutions. Implement and manage Agile/Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Monitor sprint progress, track defects, and ensure timely resolution through continuous collaboration with development and QA teams. Identify, assess, and mitigate project and quality risks to ensure smooth delivery and minimal rework. Facilitate smooth transitions between project phases, including development, testing, UAT, and deployment. Ensure proper team handovers, documentation, and knowledge transfer. Track project budgets, timelines, and resource utilization while maintaining quality benchmarks. Provide guidance and support to team members to optimize productivity, resolve blockers, and improve quality outcomes. Utilize Jira extensively for sprint management, issue tracking, defect reporting, test case management, and team collaboration.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Project Manager with hands-on QA or testing involvement. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum frameworks. Experience in preparing and reviewing test plans, test cases, UAT documentation, and defect reports. Proficiency in Jira (project tracking, sprint management, and bug tracking). Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
