Job Description
As a UAT Test Manager at NCS, you will lead the end‑to‑end User Acceptance Testing function across complex enterprise and government transformation projects. You will ensure solutions delivered by NCS teams meet business expectations, align to requirements, and are production‑ready. This role works closely with business SMEs, delivery teams, solution architects, data specialists, and NCS’s extensive ecosystem of technology partners to ensure high‑quality outcomes that reflect our commitment to excellence and innovation.
As the UAT Test Manager at NCS Australia, you will not only oversee end‑to‑end UAT delivery but also play a key role in shaping quality outcomes across complex transformation programs. Beyond managing test execution, you will be responsible for aligning UAT practices with NCS’s broader advisory‑to‑delivery ecosystem, ensuring consistency with organisational delivery frameworks and industry best practice. You will contribute to solution readiness by validating functional and non‑functional requirements, influencing design discussions, and providing early input into requirement clarity and testability.
This role also extends into coordinating cross‑stream dependencies, managing multiple stakeholder groups across digital, data, cloud, and platform teams, and ensuring alignment between business expectations and technical delivery. You will proactively identify quality risks, lead structured mitigation planning, and drive decisions that strengthen delivery confidence. Additionally, you will play a central part in uplift initiatives—standardising UAT templates, enhancing reusable processes, coaching business testers, and improving test maturity across NCS engagements. As a representative of NCS’s quality function, you will champion continuous improvement, support adoption of modern tooling and automation enhancements where appropriate, and contribute to lessons learned that feed into future projects and organisational capability building.
