Job Summary
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic Associate ServiceNow QA Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our ServiceNow platform and related applications. You will work closely with ServiceNow developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to design, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to grow their QA skills within a leading enterprise service management platform.
Skills Required
2+ years of experience of Testing with ServiceNow platform. Basic understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle. Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow ITSM). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. A proactive and eager approach to learning new technologies.
Responsibilities
Participate in the review of business requirements gathering meetings Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for ServiceNow modules and custom applications, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing. Identify, and track defects using a designated defect management system, ensuring clear and concise descriptions and steps to reproduce. Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and verify bug fixes. Participate in agile ceremonies, providing feedback on quality and progress. Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies. Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features, updates, and best practices in quality assurance. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding testing progress, results, and any potential issues.
