Role & seniority: Test Center Administrator (entry to mid level), reports to Test Center Manager; on-site customer-facing role within Prometric’s Test Center department.
Stack/tools: Windows-based PCs; MS Office (Outlook, Explorer); test-center security tools (wands, fingerprint capture where applicable); standard reporting tools for incident/log notes.
Greet examinees, verify identification, and ensure fair, comfortable testing experience.
Monitor exams, enforce policies, perform security checks, and safeguard center integrity.
Address candidate issues with urgency, maintain secure environment/materials, and report incidents outside guidelines.
High school diploma or equivalent; 18+ years old; 1+ year of in-person customer service.
Professional communication, accurate reporting, multi-tasking.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and move through test room frequently; comfortable with extended periods at a workstation.
College experience; familiarity with Windows-based software beyond basic user level.
Location & work type: Washington, DC (1629 K St NW #950); part-time, 20 hours/week (schedules vary, Saturday availability required; potential evenings; two-week advance scheduling). On-site position with no overnight shifts.

Schedule: Site may be open Monday through Saturday 7am to 6pm. Saturday availability required. Occasional evening hours required. Possible, Sunday hours. Our ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork, with the availability to work a variety of shifts any day - Monday through Saturday - between the hours of 7am and 10:00 pm. Candidate must be open to flexible scheduling. This is strictly a part-time position and will remain as such, 20 hours per week, with an expectation to work more hours if needed. Schedules are available 2 weeks in advance.
